No Hunger Summer Food Program

Second Harvest -NO HUNGER SUMMER:
Free Meals for Kids!

Summer Meal Program hosted by Horton Public Library:
Five days a week Mon-Fri, kids across our area can come to our No Hunger Summer Cafe Site to receive a nutritious lunch (currently grab & go sack lunches). Second Harvest provides this opportunity to us to be able to reach out with free lunches & stop hunger in our community.

With the help of local volunteers we aim to be able to continue to provide this program every year. Because every summer should be a positive & fun experience. No child should spend that time in a state of hunger.

The Second Harvest Community Food Bank, provides this opportunity to us as they know that summer break takes away the opportunity for kids that receive free or reduced-price lunches to have access to nutritious foods. The No Hunger Summer feeding program provides free lunches to children 18 and under five days a week during the summer.

Mon- Fri May 21st - Aug 31st from 11:30am-12:30pm @ The Horton Blue Building
