The City of Horton is currently seeking proposals to inspect the City’s 250,000 gallon elevated Water Storage Tank. We are requesting an ROV inspection proposal, but would also consider other alternatives. The inspection shall be performed in compliance with American Water Works Association standard C652-92 and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards. After reviewing the inspection(s), the city will determine how, when, and who will perform the identified maintenance to be done. The selected contractor will coordinate with city staff to prepare whatever draining of the tank is necessary, prior to inspection. The City does have the right to refuse any and all proposals.
